We love Miele appliances, and have many.Recently we purchased a 36" W fridge with freezer at bottom, and the service for installation & repairs has been a rollercoaster ride of highs and lows.
The highs include the fridge itself: it's amazing. And Miele did replace a costly door because it was cracked at the bottom. But oh boy, the lows: excessively long hold times on their customer 'service' line; botched deliveries (it took 3 attempts to get the door delivered prior to installation, installations had to be cancelled & rescheduled, and when they finally found the door, it arrived at the 11th hour); incomplete installations (not all broken or missing pieces were replaced as required); and the repair/installation guy left a mess, leaving all the cartons and styrofoam behind. In following up with them, everyone you speak to is always very nice and very pleasant but information is never successfully communicated between staff.
It's like a game of broken telephone. I am confident things will get done...eventually.
Probably before we move and sell in 5 - 10 years.Their motto "Immer Besser" is apt - hard to go anywhere but up when the service is this bad.
