We bought a Miele 36" gas range Dec 30 2016 for a new house build, from Trail Appliance in Langley, BC.Canada.
We paid the balance in July 20 2017 and it was shipped and received same month. We installed it in Aug and went to use it end of Aug for the first time....the oven did NOT work. Several phone calls to their customer service department finally got someone in New Westminster who said we had to arrange our own repair. (For an appliance on warranty, that is rediculous).
So we do, in the end they ship some parts by pony express to be installed. We've been cooking on a BBQ for months by this time. The parts are installed and the oven still doesn't work. Another month of phone calls and they say they sent the wrong parts and the range needs to be reprogrammed but they won't do it.
It's been almost 2 months since they agreed to reimburse us (but not for the delivery charge) and they haven't sent a penny nor have the made an attempt to pick it up from our garage. I last spoke to a rep (Mario Oblater) in Quebec 3 weeks ago (God knows why they had me deal with someone across the country) who said he was just going into a meeting and would call me back. 3 frigin weeks. From the start Miele's customer service has sucked!
They continue to surpass their terrible service record with even more abismal attempts.
Miele must be owned by ISIS and this is their version of customer terrorism.DO NOT BUY ANY OF THEIR PRODUCTS !
